This class will focus on hand painting, using foils to create a more natural and lived-in look. Foilayage is meant for very low maintenance, lots of dimension, rooty up top and a soft face frame with pops of ribbons all over. The class is hands on and includes theory, a Swag Bag with all of the favorite tools of your Master Stylist, Becky. You will also receive certification.
Meet your Instructor: My name is Becky and I have been a hairstylist for 10 years. I started my career in West Hollywood specializing in blowouts and styling. I have had my work published in People Magazine and got to work with some of my favorite actresses growing up. After having my son, I decided I wanted to build my career locally here in Long Beach where I grew up. I interned at Dean Anthony Salon in 2019 and I am now the most requested stylist. My obsession with hair started when I was just 13 years old when I witnessed my very first highlights on my teacher’s aide. I fell completely in love with the science behind hair and I have never looked back. I begged my sister to take me to the salon and got my first highlights in the 8th grade. The best part about my job as a stylist is, I get to create and customize specific looks for my clients. But, most importantly, I get to make other women happy, feel good and confident about themselves. I get to build relationship and trust with my clients (who sometimes turn into friends). I have laughed, cried and shared life experiences with real women and that’s what hair is all about. I hope by the end of class, I have motivated you and that you’ll take what you’ve learned and create your own art and build your own brand.
